Your Business Card

…more than just your contact info!

Which marketing materials do you most often ask for or give out?

I find that most of the time people ask for the business card…it’s small, provides key, to-the-point information, and doesn’t necessarily end up in the garbage as quickly as other printed materials might – even if the person doesn’t have a need for your products or services immediately.

The business card therefore has become an increasingly important part of your integrated marketing strategy, and we recommend you take advantage of it!  Include your tagline and the core message you use on your website and other marketing materials.  Use the back, and be creative!  If your business card communicates your core message, your style and the personality of your business, it is more likely to stand out and be remembered.

Integrate!

Make sure your website, social media, ads, newsletter and other marketing/communication efforts are linked and communicate the same, consistent message.

Many widgets are available for the social media.  These provide a way to automatically update your website, for instance when you tweet or update your Facebook fan page.

Get your money’s worth of your stamp!  When mailing out invoices, letters and more, include your business card and any relevant fliers you have.

Do your customers or clients know ALL of the services or products you offer?  Adding the information about additional services and products may spark a new idea for them, either for themselves, or for friends or colleagues who may have an interest.  They may even pass your business card along to them, since you made it so easy for them to provide your contact information.
